Turmeric (Curcuma Longa) is a plant native to India and Asia. As a spice, turmeric gives curries their typical color and flavor.

Because the root of the Curcuma Longa has a characteristic orange-yellow colour, turmeric is also sometimes called yellow root .

How to use

To use, add 7 g of turmeric powder to 300 ml of juice, rice or oat drink.

Also try a spoonful of turmeric powder in a dressing, sauce or pasta. It can perfectly replace curry powder from the supermarket.

Additionally, using turmeric along with healthy fats like olive oil can improve absorption.
